Oxygen

Oxygen for medical purposes is for the use of patients in need of help with breathing. It is a tasteless, odorless, colorless gas essential for human respiration.

Oxygen for industrial purposes such steel making and other metal refining and fabrication processes, in chemical and petroleum processing, glass and ceramic manufacture, pulp and paper manufacture. Oxygen is used with fuel gases in gas welding, gas cutting, flame cleaning, flame hardening, and flame straightening. Oxygen is also used in biological treatment of waste water, the use of oxygen instead of air permits increased capacity in existing treatment plants. Oxygen has many uses in breathing apparatus, such as those for underwater work and refinery and chemical plant self-contained and breathing apparatus.
